Amanda received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). Growing up in a very busy “sports” family, Amanda experienced firsthand what it was like having sustained a sporting injury whether it were in hockey, soccer, running, swimming, cycling, snowboarding or the odd tackle with her 4 siblings.

Amanda’s therapeutic approach includes a combination of manual therapy, taping, education and rehabilitative exercises that enable patients to reach their optimal goals. She wishes to empower patients to take lead and manage their own physical health. Amanda continues to attend post graduate courses to further her skills in the following areas: taping, sport & running injuries, pelvic floor physiotherapy, vestibular & concussion rehab. She has also completed the McMaster Acupuncture program in the fall of 2016.

Being new to the city, on her spare time Amanda enjoys volunteering and getting lost on her bicycle. She enjoys racing in community events and once participated in a half marathon in 2013. Amanda now wishes to challenge her mother at a marathon in the hopes of redeeming herself from a previous loss at a 10k race.
