Biography

Simrat graduated with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with a specialization in Sports injuries and Rehab.
Simrat is proficient in addressing a variety of patient conditions including a wide range of musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions and post-operative rehabilitation. Her primary focus is on recovery by providing patient-centered care and strives to attain this using research-based therapy including manual therapy, customized exercise plans, and extensive patient education.
Simrat is currently a Functional IMS (FIMS) certified physiotherapist. Additionally, she is also a certified pelvic health physiotherapist and can help men and women with conditions of the pelvic floor and improve their quality of life.
Simrat believes in continuous self-development and stays up to date through various professional development courses such as Mulligan Concept and Kinesio taping.

Biography

Sierra obtained a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Neuroscience at Carleton University. She is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Her holistic assessment and treatment approach focuses on manual therapy, soft tissue work, exercise prescription, and patient education and has completed her courses in Acupuncture and Dry Needling. She has begun the process of completing her manual therapy levels through the Orthopaedic Division.
Sierra also has a special interest in Pelvic Health & has completed her Pelvic Level 1, 2 & 3 courses. She has also completed courses in pregnancy & pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain as well as Diastasis Recti. Sierra is also experienced in pessary fittings.
She believes in empowering her clients and giving them the tools necessary to heal themselves and restore mobility and function. Educating her patients is an important aspect of her care. Sierra believes that her clients should understand their injury, the treatment they are receiving and how they play an active role in their recovery.
In her spare time, she enjoys pole aerobics, playing with her dog, and traveling.
