Aleesha graduated from her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2022, following her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University.
Her passion for rehab stems from her appreciation and understanding of the journey to recovery. Aleesha strongly believes that with adequate guidance and support the human body is capable of overcoming and managing any physical injury. She takes pride in creating a professional work environment which fosters personal growth, honest communication, and a comfortable space for working through injury. She is also extremely passionate about advocating for equitable access to healthcare among minorities.
Aleesha uses a holistic approach to rehab that includes manual techniques, exercise therapy and patient education. Aleesha has experience working with several athletes and has a strong interest for treating sport related injuries. She is in the process of completing her credentialing through Sports Physiotherapy Canada and hopes to expand her qualifications by taking courses in acupuncture, dry needling and through the orthopaedic division of the CPA in the near future.
In her spare time you can find her attending Raptors games, biking by the water, trying new foods around the city and dancing the night away with her friends and family.
