Lara Gamgoum graduated from McMaster University with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy.
Biography
Lara Gamgoum graduated from McMaster University with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. She previously completed a Masters of Science in Genomics and Precision Medicine in Qatar, and an Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto Mississauga.
Lara strongly believes in using evidence-based practice to tailor her treatment plans and reach her patients’ personal goals. Lara also completed her Level 1 in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and has a growing interest in Women’s health and orthopedics. She is also a certified Functional IMS (FIMS) physiotherapist. Lara has worked with a wide variety of patient populations, including post-op, concussion, pediatrics, and chronic pain.
Lara speaks both English and Arabic, and is passionate about educating and empowering her patients to get back to what they enjoy doing.
Growing up playing basketball and team sports, Lara values the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle and motivates those around her with her optimism and energy. In her spare time, Lara enjoys going on hikes, playing basketball, dancing, and exploring different cafes.
