Beatrice is a registered physiotherapist with accreditation for acupuncture practice in Hong Kong. She completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to that, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology (Health & Disease) at the University of Toronto. She is currently licensed with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario as a Physiotherapy Resident, and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Beatrice has clinical experience in treating musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions in hospital, long-term rehabilitation and private settings. In an East-meets-West approach, her treatment techniques involve manual therapy, soft tissue release, cupping, electrotherapy, education and customized exercise prescription. She believes that a combination of Chinese and Western approach can enhance the therapeutic effect on patients, and ultimately integrate innovative rehabilitation ideas into their daily life. She enjoys practicing Baduanjin exercise at her leisure time, and incorporating into patients’ treatment plan when appropriate to enhance cardiorespiratory fitness, balance, flexibility and reduce osteoarthritis.

During her schooling, Beatrice gained overseas exchange opportunities in pediatric hospitals of Thailand and China. She had worked in outpatient and inpatient settings where she provided play-based intervention to children with conditions such as developmental delay, torticollis and Cerebral Palsy.
