LAURIN BLACK

Laurin obtained her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, following her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Waterloo. She is currently a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).

Laurin is passionate about guiding individuals to achieve their goals through a holistic approach. Her assessment and treatment style involves the bio-psychosocial model, which allows her to ensure each person receives care that best suits their needs. Physiotherapy with Laurin includes an individualized program featuring manual therapy, soft tissue work, exercise, education, and lifestyle modification based on assessment findings and relevant literature.

Laurin is working towards her Manual Therapy Levels through the Orthopaedic Division, as well as certification in Pelvic Health through the Women’s Health Division of the CPA.

In her free time, Laurin can usually be found hiking, cycling, or exploring Canadian microbreweries.
