Cervicogenic Dizziness

Cervicogenic dizziness is a type of dizziness which occurs when there is irritation in the cervical spine and structures around it like muscles, ligaments, and nerves which may affect the vestibular system.

Common Symptoms of Cervicogenic Dizziness

  • Dizziness or spinning sensation
  • Headaches most commonly one the temple area and base of the skull
  • Neck pain
  • Stiffness on the neck
  •  Unsteadiness or difficulty maintaining posture and coordination
  • Blurred vision and sensitivity to light
