Text neck (tech neck) is a condition that results from excessive strain on the neck due to prolonged and excessive use of electronic devices like smartphones, computers, and tablets.  It occurs when the head and neck are consistently forward and downward. The prevalence of text neck has increased with the growing dependence on electronic devices for communication, work, and entertainment. People of all age groups, including children and adolescents, are susceptible to developing text neck due to their device usage habits.
