Nathan is a passionate and internationally trained physiotherapist with over 5 years of clinical experience spanning Hong Kong, the UK, and now Canada. Currently a Resident Physiotherapist registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Nathan brings a diverse background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, and elite sports medicine.

He has worked extensively with professional athletes, having served as the Club Physiotherapist for Kitchee Sports Club—Hong Kong’s premier football team—and as a Senior Physiotherapist at CUHK Medical Centre, where he led outpatient care and developed rehabilitation protocols for sports injuries and post-surgical patients.

Nathan holds a Master’s in Sports Medicine and Health Science and has additional training in acupuncture, manual therapy, shockwave therapy, and clinical Pilates. He also brings on-field expertise, having provided pitch-side care in international football leagues and youth academies in both Hong Kong and the UK.

His approach to physiotherapy is holistic and evidence-informed, aiming to empower patients of all levels—from elite athletes to everyday individuals—through tailored rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies.

When he’s not helping people feel their best, Nathan enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and hitting the trails for a good walk in nature. Additionally, Nathan speaks Cantonese and Mandarin fluently.

    Dr. Samantha is a dedicated evidence-based chiropractor and acupuncture provider. She is originally from Nova Scotia where her journey into the world of holistic healthcare began at Acadia University. Driven by a passion for enhancing the well-being of others, Dr. Samantha relocated to Toronto to further her education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

    With a patient-centered approach at the core of her practice, Dr. Samantha is committed to developing tailored treatment plans and empowering her patients throughout their wellness journey.       Yan is a highly skilled Registered Massage Therapist who also holds a license in acupuncture. She takes great pleasure in assisting individuals in their healing journeys, whether they’re recovering from injuries, managing chronic conditions, or striving to achieve their overall health objectives. She accomplishes this by administering therapeutic massages that promote a harmonious connection between the body and mind.

      With over 15 years of professional experience in various health-related fields, Yan has delved into the realm of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, particularly in acupuncture. Whether a patient seeks relief from stress or treatment for specific pain, she leverages her extensive knowledge to blend a range of therapeutic techniques, including acupressure, reflexology, Swedish relaxation methods, deep tissue work, hot stone therapy, and shiatsu massage.

      Yan also possesses expertise in providing prenatal treatments for expectant mothers, ensuring their well-being during this special time.

        Biography

        Matthew Kowalczyk graduated from the University of Toronto with a high honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree. He then completed his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the School of Rehabilitation Therapy at Queen’s University. Prior to his career as a physiotherapist, Matthew worked with the Orthopaedic Research team at Toronto Western Hospital with a special interest in osteoarthritis.

        Matthew believes in targeting the root cause of pain and dysfunction to create long-term and effective changes to allow his clients to return to doing what they love and achieving their goals. His style incorporates a blend of hands-on manual therapy, targeted exercise interventions, and education about the nature of the conditions he treats. Matthew has worked with a variety of populations including seniors, adults, and athletes. He is working towards expanding his clinical skills and is excited to continue learning and expanding his knowledge of physiotherapy techniques.

        Outside of the clinic, Matthew loves to watch hockey and soccer, play floorball and tennis, exercise, and enjoys a good cup of coffee.

          Biography

          Dr. Amrit Matharu graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science in Honours and a Bachelor of Education. She subsequently graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2017, obtaining her Doctorate of Chiropractic.

          Dr. Amrit Matharu has been working as a registered chiropractor in private out-patient orthopaedic clinics for 4 years. Amrit has also taken postgraduate courses in concussion and headaches as well as medical acupuncture. Her chiropractic specialties include neck and lower back pain, whiplash injuries, headaches, frozen shoulder, sports injuries and motor vehicle accident injuries. During her treatment sessions, she incorporates manual chiropractic adjustments, mobilizations, soft tissue techniques, active rehabilitation and modalities, when appropriate.

          Dr. Matharu strongly believes in the crucial nature of a properly functioning musculoskeletal nervous system to support optimum health in her patients. Having a background in education, Dr. Matharu focuses on patient education and allowing the patient to take an active role in their own recovery by giving them the knowledge, confidence and necessary tools to do so.

            Biography

            Damian is passionate about client-centred care and uses his clinical knowledge in conjunction with his fascination with human psychology in order to energize and empower his clients to take control of their health. He strives to achieve this through the three pillars of exercise, manual therapy, and education.

            Damian is currently pursuing his Manual Therapy levels through the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and has developed an astute interest in acupuncture, the Mulligan Concept, and myofascial release techniques thus far. He is also a Functional IMS (FIMS) certified physiotherapist.

             

            Outside of the clinic, Damian is an extroverted soul who loves exercise, swing dancing, and thought provoking conversations over an exquisite cup of coffee.

              Biography

              Lindsay graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from the University of Guelph and a Diploma of Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College.

              Lindsay is passionate about working collaboratively with patients to rehabilitate their injuries and get them back to doing what they love. She believes that the best approach to treatment is to use a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue manipulation, and exercise prescription.

              When she is not working, you can find her watching movies, attempting escape rooms, or trying to build her running shoe collection.

                Biography

                Kris graduated from McMaster University with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy and previously graduated from University of Toronto with a Honours Bachelor of Science in Physiology.

                He is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Kris works by determining the root cause of a patient’s issue and creates a detailed treatment plan for them. He provides hands-on manual therapy, personalized exercise programs, and educates patients to help decrease their pain, improve their mobility, and work towards their goals.

                 

                Kris has also received further training in manual therapy, soft tissue release, concussion management, acupuncture and Functional IMS (FIMS). He has helped people of all populations including clients that are post surgery, weekend warriors, to collegiate and professional athletes.

                In his spare time, you can catch Kris playing basketball and volleyball, swimming, or watching movies.

                    Dr. Gina earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. During her studies, she found her passion for chiropractic while working as a chiropractic assistant. She then decided to pursue her dream and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She has continued her education and has earned certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University, Active Release Techniques® and Webster technique.

                    Dr. Gina specializes in treating both acute and chronic musculoskletal conditions. She utilizes an evidenced-based, individualized, and patient-centered approach in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to the spine, joints and neuromusculoskeletal system. Dr. Gina specializes in the diversified technique, which includes manual chiropractic manipulations. Other techniques that she utilizes includes joint mobilizations, myofascial release therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, trigger point therapy, medical acupuncture, Webster technique, electrotherapy or modalities and functional rehabilitation. Her aim is to improve the quality of life and achieve optimal health outcomes for those residing in the Greater Toronto Area.
