              BREE DILEO

              Biography

Bree is a Registered Massage Therapist who completed her schooling at Humber College Institute of Advanced Learning and obtained an Advanced Diploma, and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Bree knew this was the career for her after experiencing the benefits of massage therapy as a competitive athlete, competing in both hockey and soccer year round. Not only does she firmly believe in the rehabilitative properties of massage, but also passionately confirms its place in a holistic approach to full body wellness.

Just as it is important to exercise and eat well, to see true results and have a balanced lifestyle, it is equally important to take care of our bodies through massage.  One will benefit by preventing injury, allowing the body to work at it’s full potential, rehabilitating physical function, and stimulating the sympathetic nervous system (rest and digest), which relieves stress.  This is so important because we now know how many pathologies are caused from stress.

Bree’s philosophy of care, branches from the therapeutic relationship. A strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation that facilitates healing. It is vital for patients to be involved in the healing process because the more they understand, the faster they will heal. Knowledge is power and she is adamant on keeping current along with surrounding herself with other health care practitioners who have different and new information.

Bree practices at the King West clinic. Contact Bree at kingwest@trianglephysiotherapy.com.
