Bree is a Registered Massage Therapist who completed her schooling at Humber College Institute of Advanced Learning and obtained an Advanced Diploma, and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Bree knew this was the career for her after experiencing the benefits of massage therapy as a competitive athlete, competing in both hockey and soccer year round. Not only does she firmly believe in the rehabilitative properties of massage, but also passionately confirms its place in a holistic approach to full body wellness.

Just as it is important to exercise and eat well, to see true results and have a balanced lifestyle, it is equally important to take care of our bodies through massage.  One will benefit by preventing injury, allowing the body to work at it’s full potential, rehabilitating physical function, and stimulating the sympathetic nervous system (rest and digest), which relieves stress.  This is so important because we now know how many pathologies are caused from stress.

Bree’s philosophy of care, branches from the therapeutic relationship. A strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation that facilitates healing. It is vital for patients to be involved in the healing process because the more they understand, the faster they will heal. Knowledge is power and she is adamant on keeping current along with surrounding herself with other health care practitioners who have different and new information.

Bree practices at the King West clinic. Contact Bree at kingwest@trianglephysiotherapy.com.

Through this, Gene likes to assess many contributing factors to a problem so that they can work towards patient goals efficiently. Gene uses his skill in therapy to address problems at hand, whilst also educating and bringing awareness to the patient’s body as a whole. Therefore, with better knowledge of themselves, a patient can keep their body at its most optimal. He achieves this through his skills in General Relaxation/Wellness Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques, and more.

Alycia (Aly) was first introduced to Acupuncture as a patient after a traumatic car accident she experienced in her childhood. The trauma left Aly in chronic pain and due to surgical complications she also experienced digestive issues, stress and anxiety. Aly wanted to find an alternative to alleviating the pain without the reliance on narcotic pain medications, or nerve blocking injections – which led her to discovering the benefits of acupuncture.

During her experience, Aly learned that Acupuncture was great for alleviating pain, effective in regulating her digestion, all the while bringing down her stress and anxiety levels. Acupuncture has provided Aly with countless benefits over the years and has empowered her to take back control of her health.

She completed her training at the SSC Acupuncture Institute graduating with high honors, and completed additional certifications in Facial Rejuvenation & Cosmetic Acupuncture, Advanced Needling Techniques, and Shiatsu Massage.

She has a special interest and has taken additional courses on treating women’s health issues including fertility & pregnancy, menopause and symptoms related to PMS.

Aly believes that Acupuncture is an integral component of any person’s overall healthcare.

Meg is a fully licensed Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.  She was born and raised in Milton and has always hoped to return to the Halton region to start working.

Meg started her education at Acadia University, studying Nutritional Sciences with a focus in Kinesiology.  While at Acadia, she was a member of the varsity volleyball team where she was a three-time conference all-star.  It was through playing volleyball that Meg discovered Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She suffered from patella tendinitis in both knees, which caused her a great deal of pain while jumping. She saw various physiotherapists and sports medicine doctors, but it wasn’t until she tried acupuncture that she really found long lasting pain relief.  This inspired her to look into Traditional Chinese Medicine colleges to attend once she had graduated from Acadia.

She started her Traditional Chinese Medicine training at The Canadian College of Acupuncture and TCM in Bedford, Nova Scotia, but transferred to Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine in Toronto in 2015 to complete her schooling. She received her Acupuncture diploma in 2017, followed by her TCM Practitioner diploma in 2018.

She has a very strong passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine and its ability to treat pain related conditions as well as many other health concerns.  She is particularly interested in treating conditions related to pain, stress & anxiety, sleep, allergies, respiratory and women’s health.  Along with acupuncture, she is trained in Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, and TCM dietary & lifestyle therapy.
