Laura is a resident physiotherapist at Triangle Physiotherapy’s King West and Queens Quay locations in downtown Toronto.
Laura started her educational journey at the University of Guelph-Humber where she obtained her Bachelor in Kinesiology degree and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. She later pursued further training obtaining her Physiotherapy post-graduate diploma from Leeds Beckett University in the UK.
Having personally experienced injury, Laura understands the unique challenges and impacts injury may pose when engaging in meaningful activities, sports, and daily life. Her firsthand experience of the benefits of physiotherapy has lead her to pursue physiotherapy as a career to help others navigate the steps to reclaiming meaningful movement whether it’s getting back to sport or simply engaging in daily activities without discomfort.
Throughout her educational and professional journey Laura has gained experience working with diverse patient groups from adults to seniors. She focuses on delivering personalized care by conducting thorough assessments and collaborating with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their specific needs and goals. Laura integrates a combination of exercise, manual therapy, and ongoing education to support her clients, ensuring safety and optimal results throughout their recovery process.
In her free time, Laura enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. She is an avid rock climber, gym-goer, hiker, and enjoys practicing yoga. She also values quality time with family and friends.
