With a solid foundation in healthcare, she successfully obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from India and has since gained invaluable experience over the span of 7 years.       Heena is a physiotherapist in Downtown Toronto at Triangle Physiotherapy Queens Quay.

      Heena is a highly skilled and internationally trained Physiotherapist who is dedicated to continuously expanding her knowledge and mastering new techniques to provide the best possible care for her patients. Complementing her expertise, she also possesses a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from George Brown College.

       

       

      One of Heena’s core beliefs is empowering her patients through education, ensuring they understand their condition and recovery process, and enabling them to prevent future injuries. Her extensive training includes specialization in soft tissue release (STR), as well as peripheral and spinal mobilizations. In her pursuit of excellence, she is has furthered her education in Functional IMS (FIMS), reinforcing her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field.

      Driven by a passion for evidence-based practice, Heena is dedicated to expanding her skills in manual therapy, sports injuries, and pelvic health.         Biography

        Simrat graduated with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with a specialization in Sports injuries and Rehab.

        Simrat is proficient in addressing a variety of patient conditions including a wide range of musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions and post-operative rehabilitation. Her primary focus is on recovery by providing patient-centered care and strives to attain this using research-based therapy including manual therapy, customized exercise plans, and extensive patient education.

         

         

        Simrat is currently a Functional IMS (FIMS) certified physiotherapist. Additionally, she is also a certified pelvic health physiotherapist and can help men and women with conditions of the pelvic floor and improve their quality of life.

         

        Simrat believes in continuous self-development and stays up to date through various professional development courses such as Mulligan Concept and Kinesio taping.

          Ramandeep completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Birmingham City University in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from the University of Guelph and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College.

          Biography

          Matthew Kowalczyk graduated from the University of Toronto with a high honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree. He then completed his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the School of Rehabilitation Therapy at Queen’s University. Prior to his career as a physiotherapist, Matthew worked with the Orthopaedic Research team at Toronto Western Hospital with a special interest in osteoarthritis.

          Matthew believes in targeting the root cause of pain and dysfunction to create long-term and effective changes to allow his clients to return to doing what they love and achieving their goals. His style incorporates a blend of hands-on manual therapy, targeted exercise interventions, and education about the nature of the conditions he treats. Matthew has worked with a variety of populations including seniors, adults, and athletes. He is working towards expanding his clinical skills and is excited to continue learning and expanding his knowledge of physiotherapy techniques.

          Outside of the clinic, Matthew loves to watch hockey and soccer, play floorball and tennis, exercise, and enjoys a good cup of coffee.

            Marissa completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. Prior to her Masters degree, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science with High Distinction in Human Biology, Psychology, and Physiology at the University of Toronto. She is in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

            Marissa is committed to providing quality, individualized care to assist patients in achieving their goals and returning to their everyday activities. Her treatment style consists of hands-on therapy, active rehabilitation, and education to support patients on their road to recovery.

            In her spare time, Marissa enjoys going for hikes, yoga, playing the piano and spending quality time with family and friends.
