Roshni received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto after her Bachelors in Kinesiology from McMaster University. She is currently the Student Chair for the Pain Science Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Her interests are in chronic pain science, pelvic floor, concussion rehab, vestibular rehab, and manual therapy.
Roshni has experience working in orthopedic private practice, different units in the hospital such as the ICU, ASU, medical surgical and outpatient neuro, and with neurological pediatric patients. She has multiple research publications ranging from diabetes to corticospinal excitability.
Roshni believes in the biopsychosocial approach, especially when it comes to chronic pain. She believes in delivering patient-centered care where the patient contributes towards their treatment and outcomes. She is a strong advocate for pain research and improving patient care.
Outside of her physiotherapy practice, Roshni is a piano teacher with her own studio. She enjoys going to the gym and playing sports such as badminton. She is also a classical dancer practicing Bharatanatyam and Kathak.
